This weekend we are Simo-casting the Howlingwolf-fm Benefit for the American Cancer Society on the Zen Live Radio Network. In addition, below you will find Ed's Chipin widget to collect donations.
Hi Guys.. just a few new things here on ItsZenLive ( the new CafeZen ).
In the Forums I have added a place for live web shows that may be of interest & entertaining. The 1st one I have added is CW Colt who is a "jimmy buffet" kind of guy broadcasting his live shows from the Florida keys.
You will also now notice that you may add "custom html" or Embeds on your own profile page by adding the "custom html" app. when in "customize mode". This will allow you to add widgets of your own. Currently I have one widget on mine, you may want to check out.
It is a button that allows members to leave me a video message, up to 3 minutes in my case. The Widget is free from Tokbox.com.
Drop something on me and check it out!

As time passes the method in which "we humans" communicate evolves in some surprising ways. I can remember seeing doors that would slide open on their own on star trek. But even more interesting to me was that "walkie talkie" device that Captain Kirk would just flip open and communicate with the crew still on the ship. I have seen that little device grow in some very astonishing ways. There are Nursing staff in hospitals that just press a button on a small device and speak to the other nurses and doctors. But even more.. I have one! A Cell Phone that not only allows me to speak, but also message, listen to music, or for some of those with smart phones, even "WATCH" a video online, or from a friend. With the new smart phones you can even Video chat!
As astounding as all of this is, it's still a bit clunkly at times. In a car I once had there was a "Heads Up Display" that showed me the time, my speed, and much more as if floating in front of my windshield. THAT is what is missing.. HEADS UP! Today so many of us are texting or surfing those little hand held devices we are missing the bigger picture. We are not looking at one another. But that may soon change. How? You may ask. Here are a couple things that are currently being worked on that just may help.
