Zen I started to do a vlog reply to this, and probably still will. But I thought I would leave a comment as well. When "You" ask someone how they are doing... do you really want to know or are you asking as a polite greeting? i know when I am saying it to someone who is a stranger, I am simply being pleasant. If they went into a detailed explanation ( especially if negative ), I would be fairly uncomfortable.
On the other hand.. with a friend, really do want to know, and hope they will tell me how well they are.
